Parent & Adolescent Brain Injury Support Groups
The Brain Injury Association of New Jersey is launching a new program entitled, Parent & Adolescent Brain Injury Support Groups. The group will allow teens and young adults with brain injuries (ages 13-21) and their parents or caregivers to meet others in similar situations. The attendees and their families will gain valuable emotional support, obtain information and resources, and hear speakers as they discuss a variety of brain injury topics.
The first meeting is scheduled to take place Thursday January 21, 2010 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Children’s Specialized Hospital in New Brusnwick, New Jersey. For additional or to register for the meeting, contact Deborah Brown at 732-501-0883 or by email at parentandadolescentgroup@bianj.org.
