Opportunity Project Opens Doors for People with Brain Injuries
People who have suffered a traumatic brain injury often find it hard to get back into life as they once knew it. They have with obstacles – sometimes social, sometimes physical – that they did not have before.
That’s where Opportunity Project comes in. Founded by three New Jersey families whose sons had sustained traumatic brain injuries, the organization offers vocational and social support systems for people with acquired brain injury, helping them to find a new role in the community.
A recent article written by Angela Stewart in the Star Ledger tells of the experiences of one such person helped by Opportunity Project. You can read the article here.
