New Thinking on How the Brain Works

I recently came across an interesting article in the Palm Beach Post regarding the research of Florida Atlantic University Professor J.A. Scott Kelso.

Kelso has been studying the brains of the FAU football team before and after concussions. His findings have shown that most changes take place in the interior of the brain, not the exterior.  Kelso believes the brain is a "self-organizing system," that changes and flows to accommodate damages caused by injuries.
