Brain Injury Association of NJ Runner-Up for Kean Achievement Award
Congratulations to our friends at the Brain Injury Association of New Jersey (BIA-NJ) for being selected by New Jersey’s Partnership in Philanthropy (PIP) as a runner-up for the 2006 Hon. Thomas H. Kean Partnership in Philanthropy Award. BIA-NJ was presented with the award at the PIP’s Annual Dinner at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.
The award, given to former PIP clients, was created "to recognize a nonprofit organization’s success in utilizing PIP’s technical assistance to its best advantage and achieving outstanding results in the time since it has completed a consultancy program with PIP," says Becky Dembo, PIP’s executive director.
