Brain Injury and ALS

I recently read a new study published in the American Journal of Epidemiology (2007: 166 (7): 810-816).  In the study, the authors looked at the connection between head injury and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) (Lou Gehrig’s disease).  The authors found that there was a correlation between brain injury and ALS.  This certainly has profound implications for the future.
