International Brain Injury Association’s World Congress

The International Brain Injury Association (IBIA) has just announced it’s annual World Congress will be held April 9-12, 2008 and will be held in Lisbon, Portugal. The congress will include a one day symposium, an association with the World Federation of Neurological Rehabilitation (WFNR) focused on advances and controversies in mild traumatic brain injuries.

In addition to the symposium, the three-day event will include the annual designation of the Henry H. Stonnington, which is awarded to the best review article for the IBIA’s scientific journal, Brain Injury
and other awards honoring international achievements in the areas of contributions to the field of brain injury medicine, and historical advocacy efforts in raising awareness of traumatic brain injuries.
